About the
Italian Village

The Italian village Fremantle was founded in 1993 in
White Gum valley, Western Australia.

Our facility can cater for the needs of 100 frail aged residents  including a 20 bed wing designed and staffed to meet the specialised needs of residents living with dementia.

All rooms are large single rooms with ensuite bathrooms.

Residents also have access to spacious professionally decorated living and dining facilities that overlook beautiful garden settings and external patio areas.

A current ACAT (Aged Care Assessment team) assessment is
required before you can be considered for placement.
Your doctor can assist you with organizing this. Residents are
encouraged to remain as independent as possible however the
Italian village provides care at all levels

All services are provided in accordance with Government guidelines
and regulations. A list of prescribed services for low and high care
can be provided on request or discussed with the Manager.

The Italian village Fremantle is a non for profit organization.

Fees & Charges

This Facility charges an accommodation bond which is
currently up to $550,000, depending on financial status.

An Asset & Income Assessment will be required to
assess fees & charges applicable to you. This can be done
through Centrelink. For those with assets and income
below the threshold set by the Commonwealth a bond or
accommodation charge is not charged.

There are a number of ways the bond can be paid.
Please contact the Manager for further explanation.
Ongoing fees are billed monthly and paid by direct
debit through your bank.

A daily fee will be determined by assessment through
Centrelink and the Department of Health.
The daily fee will vary according to income and assets.
Other services such as telephone, newspapers, pharmacy,
podiatry etc will also be billed monthly.
